These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to purchases made throughgiftbycoffer.com and to the use of the Coffer gift experience.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us
The website and Coffer gift experience are operated by:

In these Terms, “Coffer”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Digital gifts d.o.o.
2. What Coffer is
Coffer is a physical gift experience combined with access to a digital asset value arranged through our regulated crypto partner, Digital Assets d.o.o., operating under the brand name Bitcoin Store.
A Coffer gift includes:
- a physical gift selected by the customer
- branded gift packaging
- a metal card with a QR code or other gift claim mechanism
- access to a digital asset claim flow through Bitcoin Store.
Coffer is not a crypto exchange, wallet provider, custodian, investment advisor, broker or financial services provider.
The digital asset value is arranged through Bitcoin Store. Bitcoin Store is responsible for its own account creation, identity verification, KYC, AML, wallet, custody and digital asset claim processes.
3. Who can place an order
To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
Coffer currently sells to individual consumers only. We do not currently sell to businesses through the website checkout.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide during checkout is accurate, complete and up to date.
4. Guardian and eligibility
Each Coffer gift must be associated with an eligible adult guardian or adult contact person.
The guardian or adult contact person must:
- be at least 18 years old
- be a tax resident of a country supported by the Coffer and Bitcoin Store gift claim flow
- be able and willing to complete any required Bitcoin Store registration, identity verification, KYC, AML or compliance checks.
The list of supported countries is shown during checkout. If the intended guardian or adult contact person is not a tax resident of a supported country, you should not place the order for that person.
If an ineligible guardian or adult contact person is provided, we may offer one or more of the following options, depending on what is legally, operationally and technically possible:
- replacing the guardian or adult contact person with an eligible person
- assisting with the gift claim process through Bitcoin Store
- offering a refund or partial refund in accordance with these Terms.
Where the Digital Asset Value has already been arranged, any refund or alternative resolution may be limited by market fluctuations, Bitcoin Store rules, applicable fees, compliance requirements and applicable law.
5. Prices and order structure
The total order price consists of:
- Physical Gift Portion — the fixed portion of the price related to the physical gift, packaging, metal card, fulfillment and handling
- Digital Asset Value — the amount selected by the customer to be arranged through Bitcoin Store for the digital asset gift claim flow.
The Physical Gift Portion is currently €50.
The minimum Digital Asset Value is currently €50.
This means the minimum total order value is currently €100, excluding any applicable shipping charges unless shipping is offered free of charge as part of a promotion.
The customer may select a Digital Asset Value above the minimum amount, subject to limits shown at checkout.
Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout before payment. We may offer free shipping as a promotion.
6. Digital asset selection and fees
During checkout, you may select which supported digital assets you want the Digital Asset Value to be used for and in which proportions.
For example, you may choose for part of the Digital Asset Value to be used for Bitcoin and part for another supported digital asset.
Supported digital assets depend on Bitcoin Store’s current availability.
The Digital Asset Value is used to arrange the selected digital assets through Bitcoin Store and may include applicable Bitcoin Store fees, service fees, transaction fees, spread, conversion costs or other applicable costs. As a result, the amount of digital assets available to claim may be lower than the selected EUR Digital Asset Value after applicable fees and costs.
Digital asset prices can change rapidly. The final amount of digital assets depends on the market price and applicable fees at the time the Digital Asset Value is arranged.
7. When the Digital Asset Value is arranged
The Digital Asset Value is arranged immediately after successful payment or as soon as technically possible after payment confirmation.
Because the Digital Asset Value is arranged immediately after payment and depends on fluctuations in the financial market that Coffer cannot control, it cannot be cancelled or refunded once arranged, except where required by applicable law.
By placing an order, you request that we begin arranging the Digital Asset Value immediately after payment.
You acknowledge that, once the Digital Asset Value has been arranged, you lose the right to cancel or receive a refund for that part of the order, except where required by applicable law.
8. Payment
Payments are processed by our payment provider, currently Stripe.
We do not collect or store full payment card numbers, CVV codes or full card details.
Your payment must be successfully completed before we begin processing your order.
If payment fails, is declined, is reversed or is suspected of fraud, we may cancel or suspend the order.
9. Order confirmation
After placing an order, you may receive an order confirmation by email.
An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that the order has been fully accepted, completed or fulfilled. We may cancel or refuse an order where:
- payment fails or is reversed
- required information is missing or inaccurate
- the guardian or adult contact person is not eligible
- the order appears fraudulent or unlawful
- the product is unavailable
- we are unable to complete the gift claim arrangement through Bitcoin Store
- we are required to do so by law or by a payment, compliance or crypto partner.
If we cancel an order before the Digital Asset Value has been arranged, we will refund the applicable amount paid, unless otherwise permitted by law.
If the Digital Asset Value has already been arranged, any refund may be limited to the Physical Gift Portion, in accordance with these Terms.
10. Gift claim process
The Coffer gift includes a QR code or other claim mechanism that directs the recipient or their legal guardian to the gift claim flow.
To claim the Digital Asset Value, the recipient’s legal guardian or eligible adult contact person may need to:
- register with Bitcoin Store
- accept Bitcoin Store’s terms
- complete identity verification, KYC, AML or other compliance checks
- satisfy Bitcoin Store’s eligibility and residency requirements.
Bitcoin Store may refuse, delay, restrict or require additional information for registration, verification or claim completion.
Coffer does not control Bitcoin Store’s KYC, AML, account, wallet, custody or claim approval process.
If a claim cannot be completed because the guardian or adult contact person is ineligible, fails KYC, does not provide required information or does not meet Bitcoin Store’s requirements, we will review the situation and may offer available options in accordance with these Terms.
11. Card, QR code and claim security
The card, QR code and gift claim information are used to start the gift claim flow.
The Digital Asset Value is linked to the guardian or adult contact person provided during checkout and can only be claimed through Bitcoin Store, subject to Bitcoin Store’s registration, identity verification, KYC, AML and eligibility checks.
If the card, QR code or claim flow is lost, damaged or not working before the Digital Asset Value has been successfully claimed, contact us at hello@giftbycoffer.com as soon as possible.
Where possible, we will help verify the order and resolve the issue. If the issue was caused by Coffer, we will provide an appropriate remedy, such as support, replacement, reissue or another solution required by applicable law.
After the Digital Asset Value has been successfully claimed through Bitcoin Store, Coffer is not responsible for how the guardian or adult contact person uses, holds, transfers, sells or otherwise manages the digital assets.
12. Shipping
We currently ship to selected countries in Europe.
Available shipping countries, delivery methods and shipping prices are shown at checkout.
Estimated delivery time: within 10 business days after order confirmation, unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by carrier delays, customs or import processes, holidays, incorrect addresses, force majeure events or other circumstances outside our control.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
If an order cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal of delivery, failure to collect the package or other reasons not caused by us, additional shipping or handling fees may apply.
Risk of loss or damage to the physical goods passes to you when you or a person designated by you, other than the carrier, physically receives the goods.
13. Damaged, defective or incorrect items
If your physical gift arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us at hello@giftbycoffer.com as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of delivery.
Please include:
- order number
- description of the issue
- clear photos of the product, packaging and shipping label.
This notification period helps us resolve shipping and carrier issues faster. It does not limit any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
If the item is damaged, defective or incorrect, we may offer an appropriate remedy, such as replacement, repair, reissue, partial refund or other solution required by applicable law.
14. Cancellations, returns and refunds
14.1. Digital Asset Value
The Digital Asset Value is arranged immediately after successful payment or as soon as technically possible after payment confirmation.
Because the Digital Asset Value depends on fluctuations in the financial market that Coffer cannot control, the Digital Asset Value cannot be cancelled or refunded once arranged, except where required by applicable law.
This applies whether or not the physical gift has already been shipped.
14.2. Physical Gift Portion before shipping
If you request cancellation before the physical gift has been shipped, and after the Digital Asset Value has already been arranged, any eligible refund will apply only to the Physical Gift Portion.
The Digital Asset Value remains non-refundable once arranged, except where required by applicable law.
14.3. Physical Gift Portion after delivery
If you exercise any applicable return or withdrawal rights after receiving the physical gift, any eligible refund will apply only to the Physical Gift Portion.
To be eligible for a return of the Physical Gift Portion, the physical items must be returned unused, undamaged, complete and in their original condition, including original packaging where reasonably possible.
The Digital Asset Value remains non-refundable once arranged, except where required by applicable law.
14.4. Return shipping
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning physical items, unless the item is damaged, defective or incorrect, or unless applicable law requires otherwise.
We recommend using a tracked shipping method. We are not responsible for returned items lost or damaged in transit.
14.5. Reduced value of returned goods
You may be responsible for any reduction in the value of returned physical goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to determine their nature, characteristics and functioning.
14.6. Refund method and timing
Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
We may wait to issue a refund for the Physical Gift Portion until we receive the returned physical items or until you provide proof that the items have been sent back, where permitted by law.
Processing times may depend on Stripe, banks and card issuers.
14.7. Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory consumer rights under applicable law, including rights relating to damaged, defective, incorrect or non-conforming goods.
15. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from certain distance contracts within 14 days.
However, the right of withdrawal may not apply, or may be limited, in certain cases provided by law.
For Coffer orders:
- the Digital Asset Value is arranged immediately after payment at your request
- the value of digital assets depends on fluctuations in the financial market that Coffer cannot control
- once arranged, the Digital Asset Value cannot be cancelled or refunded, except where required by applicable law
- any eligible withdrawal or return may apply only to the Physical Gift Portion.
To exercise any applicable withdrawal right for the Physical Gift Portion, contact us at hello@giftbycoffer.com before the end of the applicable withdrawal period.
You may use the model withdrawal form at the end of these Terms, but this is not mandatory.
16. Ineligible guardian or failed claim
If the Digital Asset Value cannot be claimed because the guardian or adult contact person is ineligible, not a tax resident of a supported country, unable to complete KYC, or otherwise unable to meet Bitcoin Store’s requirements, you must contact us as soon as possible.
Depending on the circumstances and what is legally, operationally and technically possible, we may offer one or more of the following:
- changing the guardian or adult contact person to another eligible adult
- assisting with the claim process through Bitcoin Store
- arranging another available solution through Bitcoin Store
- refunding the current EUR market value of the unclaimed Digital Asset Value, reduced by applicable processing, partner, transaction or administrative fees.
Where such refund is available, a processing fee of €10 may apply.
Any refund related to the Digital Asset Value is subject to applicable law, Bitcoin Store’s requirements, market value at the time of processing, applicable fees, compliance checks and technical feasibility.
Coffer does not guarantee that a refund of the Digital Asset Value will always be legally, technically or operationally possible once the Digital Asset Value has been arranged.
17. No investment advice
Coffer does not provide investment, financial, legal, tax or crypto advice.
Any information on our website is for general informational and gift experience purposes only.
Digital assets are volatile and may increase or decrease in value. Past performance does not indicate future results.
You are responsible for your own decisions and for ensuring that the Coffer gift is appropriate for the intended recipient and guardian.
18. Product images and availability
We try to display products, colours, packaging and materials as accurately as possible.
However, minor variations may occur due to screen settings, handmade production, material batches, photography, packaging updates or supplier differences.
We may update, replace, discontinue or limit products, supported digital assets, packaging, gift designs, shipping countries or partner availability at any time.
19. Promotions
We may offer promotions, discounts, free shipping or special offers from time to time.
Promotions may be subject to additional terms, expiry dates, eligibility requirements or limitations.
We may modify or withdraw promotions at any time, unless this would affect an order already accepted under specific promotional terms.
20. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we share it, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

21. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coffer is not liable for:
- changes in digital asset prices
- market volatility
- Bitcoin Store account, KYC, AML, wallet, custody or claim decisions
- customer-provided incorrect information
- ineligible guardian or adult contact person details
- how the guardian or adult contact person uses, holds, transfers, sells or otherwise manages the digital assets after successful claim
- carrier delays or delivery failures outside our control
- indirect, incidental or consequential losses.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence or mandatory consumer rights.
22. Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to carrier delays, supplier delays, strikes, natural disasters, war, government action, regulatory changes, payment provider issues, Bitcoin Store availability, technical outages, cyber incidents or other force majeure events.
23. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The version published on our website at the time you place your order applies to that order, unless a change is required by law or by a competent authority.
24. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have mandatory consumer rights under the laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits those mandatory rights.
